Gift guide 2023
Choosing the right gift can be difficult. Every year, we wonder what will make our loved ones happy, both young and old. What if this time we chose gifts that encourage activity? Something to get people off the sofa or away from a generously laid table? Here are Movino's suggestions to help the recipient fall in love with sport.
For everyday life and special occasions
A scooter is no longer just a children's toy, but a fully-fledged means of transport: it makes travelling through a crowded city easier and helps people get to school or even work faster. Yes, you heard that right: more and more adults are hopping on scooters to get moving, enjoy fresh air and make the journey to the office more pleasant. For fans of riding on two wheels, the Movino X-Way city scooter is an ideal gift, with a maximum load of 100 kg and an overall height of 102 cm.
The X-Way is Movino's flagship scooter, designed to meet the expectations of the most demanding users. Front and rear suspension, wide wheels and ABEC-7 bearings provide comfort when travelling over uneven surfaces. The standard rear brake and auxiliary hand brake allow the scooter to stop quickly and effectively, while the deck's non-slip surface ensures a stable foothold.
The innovative folding system makes the scooter easy to carry, transport and store. A practical strap allows you to sling it over your shoulder like a piece of hand luggage. The Movino X-Way is a gift idea for people who love being active, as well as those who have so far wondered whether riding a scooter is appropriate for them. We know that it is not only possible, but also good for health and wellbeing.
For thrill-seekers
Perhaps someone in your family or circle of friends is a rider known for their passion for aerial manoeuvres and complicated tricks? We have something special for them too: the lightweight yet durable X-Core, a park scooter designed for riders who have already completed their first riding lessons. An integrated headset, IHC compression system and 46 cm deck make the X-Core equipment for those who want more. Its 110 mm wheels with aluminium cores and ABEC-9 bearings allow riders to perform remarkable tricks at the skatepark.
For beginners, we recommend the Nitro, with carefully selected features: 100 mm wheels, a flex-fender brake and grooved 160 mm grips that help make learning to ride a stunt scooter safer and easier. Scooters designed for tricks are an interesting idea for an unusual gift. Use this special time to give your loved ones something they may have been secretly dreaming of.
For those who want to feel the wind in their hair
You will find many more gift ideas at Movino. One of them is a pair of Cruzer B2 inline skates, bringing excitement and enjoyment to every outing. Adjustable and comfortable, with a triple fastening system and breathable mesh for free airflow, they offer a healthy dose of fun. An aluminium frame, ABEC-9 bearings and large wheels ensure a smooth, enjoyable ride.
For thrill-seekers, Movino also offers Cruzer Mint 3 freeride inline skates. These let riders travel through the city and head to the skatepark, impressing others with gracefully performed tricks. A rigid, strong shell, a soft-foam liner, 80 mm wheels with a hardness rating of 85A and an adjustable frame all contribute to the quality of the equipment. The Mint 3 is a model for advanced riders seeking excitement, eager to move quickly through the city and overcome the obstacles in their way. If you know someone who wants to feel the proverbial wind in their hair, these skates will be a dream Christmas gift.
Boards that brighten your day!
Still have not found the perfect gift? Take a look at our eye-catching LED skateboards with light-up wheels. Their riders will certainly be noticed: the large, soft wheels with ABEC-9 bearings handle city streets with ease. One of their clear advantages is the LED lighting that shines while riding.
A Movino fishboard is agile, practical and easy to carry. You can put it in a backpack and take it out when it is time to cruise through the city. It is a great gift idea for children and teenagers: easy to control and learn to manoeuvre. Movement, activity and fun mean, above all, better wellbeing and stronger immunity.
The run-up to Christmas is a special time of busy preparations and gift shopping. If you want this year's celebrations to be even more wonderful, give your loved ones gifts that encourage activity, movement, getting outdoors and exploring city routes. Choose something different this time: gifts that are exciting and bring plenty of joy!
