Which are the best indoor skateparks in Poland?

Few riders are likely to welcome the thought of winter approaching. After all, practising tricks outdoors is pure enjoyment! Fortunately, more and more covered stunt-riding spots are opening in Poland. At these venues, rain or snow will not stop you riding your stunt scooter. They are a paradise for riders, with quarter pipes, banks, flyboxes, ledges, rails and even foam pits where you can try the most demanding tricks. We have put together a selection of the best indoor skateparks in Poland, along with directions and admission prices for each venue.

AvePark is the most developed facility of its kind in Poland. The skatepark is located at Krakowiaków 80/98 in Warsaw.

The venue has 4 sections:

  1. Air section – equipped with a resibox and resiquarter: obstacles made with cushioning foam covered by a thick layer of rubber, which help you build confidence for tricks you are not yet sure about. The other obstacles, such as the jumpbox, quarter wall, roll-in and standard quarter pipe, are relatively large, allowing higher jumps and more difficult tricks. This section also has a foam pit where you can confidently practise backflips or frontflips.
  2. Street section – long and short rails, flat and kinked, square and round: they are all here in the street section, along with boxes. The endless possibilities for trick sequences are undoubtedly this section's greatest strength. A significant drawback is the slippery concrete surface, which makes landing tricks more difficult.
  3. Transfer section – a new room equipped with a jumpbox, step-up, spine and plenty of quarter pipes. This unusual section requires a different approach and a little time to get used to this style of riding. The obstacles are narrow and of medium height.
  4. Outdoor section – banks, small quarter pipes and a pump track, plus a roll-in, resibox and large quarter pipe behind the building. When it is very hot, you can use this section to ride outdoors.
