Summer is the best time to enjoy free moments by the water. When the sun is shining, we are naturally drawn to a lake or the sea. If you dream of peaceful relaxation away from crowded beaches, nothing works better than a SUP board. Want to swap a sun lounger for a paddle but do not know where to start? Instead of paying too much at rental shops every season, let's find out how much a SUP for recreational paddling costs!

Why choose a SUP board?

Before discussing your budget, here is a quick reminder of why recreational SUP boards are such a summer favourite. They are more than a fashionable accessory, offering:

  • A full-body workout – paddling while standing engages your core, legs, abdomen and arms. It improves balance and coordination.
  • A mental reset – few things are as calming as rhythmic paddling surrounded by nature. It is pure relaxation and an escape from everyday stress.
  • Exceptionally easy learning – no courses or exceptional fitness are needed. Most people can stand steadily on the board after a dozen or so minutes of practice.
  • Full mobility - an inflatable SUP board fits into a backpack when deflated. Put it in your car boot and you no longer need to rely on rental shops. Explore SUP accessories and parts from Movino.

Garda or Adria?

When buying equipment for many seasons, the most important step is choosing the right shape of SUP board. The model you choose depends on your weight, experience and how you intend to spend time on the water. At Movino, rather than creating dozens of complicated designs, we have focused on two refined options: Garda and Adria.

Movino SUP boards use Drop Stitch Light technology. Thousands of internal polyester threads and optimised PVC layers allow them to retain high rigidity and firmness when inflated, while remaining exceptionally light, weighing just 8 kg, and easy to transport.

Movino Garda: designed for family recreation

If you are looking for a versatile companion for weekend family trips, the Movino Garda is an ideal choice. Its designers focused on maximum lateral stability. The rounded shape and wide profile, measuring 330 cm x 81 cm, make balancing very easy, even if you are just starting and holding a paddle for the first time.

Comfort is at the heart of this board. The deck is covered with special non-slip EVA foam for excellent grip during longer outings. The SUP has reinforced bungee cords on the nose to secure a backpack or dry bag, while the central handle makes the inflated board easy to carry. With the Garda, you can plan a safe exploration of a lake, a trip down a calm river or even fun on sea waves with a child or four-legged companion on board. The Garda costs less than PLN 1200.

Movino Adria: when you need more space and directional stability

What if your plans extend beyond recreation near the shore and you want to cover longer distances? In that case, the better choice is the Movino Adria.

It is a larger, longer platform, measuring 350 cm x 83 cm, with a more elongated outline. Its buoyancy allows a safe load of up to 165 kg, so you can easily bring an extra passenger or a substantial amount of camping equipment. For longer journeys, we have included two luggage areas, with elastic bungee cords on both the nose and tail of the board. The regular price of the Adria is approximately PLN 1300.

SUP or kayak? Enjoy the water your way

Whether you choose the agile Garda or the expedition-ready Adria, both models offer excellent 2-in-1 functionality. Paddling while standing engages the whole body, but during an entire day of relaxation in the middle of a lake, you may start to feel tired.

It then takes just a moment to attach a comfortable kayak seat to the deck. Every board also comes with a multifunctional paddle. You can use it for stand-up paddling or add the second blade and enjoy the comfort of paddling while seated. It is a great alternative that lets you respond quickly to wind or a change in the river's current.

Choosing the ideal model depends entirely on your plans on the water. If you want a lightweight, agile SUP for family fun and recreation, the Garda 10'10″ is ideal. If you value steady tracking over longer distances and need a higher load capacity, choose the Adria 11'6″. It is a straightforward choice of equipment that will serve you for many sunny seasons.
